Terms of Service & Booking Conditions 

Confirmation: Your reservation is officially confirmed once our booking system generates a unique booking reference and sends a confirmation email to your provided address. 

Reviewing Details: It is the customer’s responsibility to review the confirmation email carefully (dates, pick-up times, participant counts, and gear sizes). Please inform us immediately at info@flowlapland.fi if any adjustments are needed. 

Currency: All rates are quoted and charged in Euros (€ / EUR) and include local Value Added Tax (VAT). 

Payment Terms: Unless explicitly agreed upon otherwise in writing, full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spots. 

Rate Adjustments: We reserve the right to modify advertised pricing in the case of statutory tax updates or exceptional economic changes beyond our control. 

Each tour and activity has its own specific cancellation policy, which is clearly displayed during the checkout process before you confirm and pay for your booking. 

Arctic Conditions: Your safety is our absolute priority. Arctic weather can be unpredictable. In cases of severe storms, hazardous icy conditions, or extreme cold,

Cancellations by Us: If we must cancel an activity due to safety concerns or extreme weather, you will be offered the choice of rescheduling to an alternative date/tour or receiving a full 100% refund. 

Third-Party Expenses: Flow Lapland Oy cannot be held liable for secondary expenses (such as non-refundable flights, accommodation costs, or transit tickets) resulting from itinerary changes caused by weather or force majeure events. 

Terrain & Effort: Guided nature excursions (such as the Korouoma Canyon trek) involve steep climbs, uneven trails, and potentially slippery ice. A moderate level of physical mobility and health is required. 

Health Advisory: Our active tours are not recommended for individuals with severe cardiovascular or respiratory conditions, back/joint injuries, reduced mobility, or pregnant guests. 

Conduct & Safety Instructions: Participants are required to follow all safety guidelines provided by our wilderness guides. We reserve the right to exclude any guest from an excursion—without a refund—if their actions jeopardize safety or compromise the experience of the group. 

Alcohol Policy: Participation under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. 

Equipment Sizes: Guests are responsible for submitting accurate clothing and boot sizes prior to the tour when thermal gear is included in the package. 

Insurance Coverage: Flow Lapland Oy carries third-party general liability insurance as mandated by Finnish legislation. 

Personal Insurance: We strongly advise all guests to secure comprehensive personal travel, health, and activity insurance to cover unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost property during outdoor activities. 

Limitation of Liability: Flow Lapland Oy is not liable for personal injuries, sudden illness, or loss/damage of personal property unless directly caused by gross negligence on our part.
